TRACY HEALY, PRESIDENT

Tracy Healy is the current president of DeJONG-HEALY. Previously, she served as a vice president at DeJONG and was one of its founding members. Tracy continues to focus on demographics and facility planning projects.

With a master's degree in English, experience in city and regional planning, and time spent teaching in the classroom, Tracy is well-equipped to meet the needs of clients. She combines over 15 years of experience with her desire to enhance learning environments for students around the world.

One major area of focus for Tracy is in projecting student enrollment for schools districts involved with the Ohio School Facilities Commission. To date, projections for over 400 districts have been completed, including the six major urban districts: Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Akron, Toledo, and Dayton. Tracy has worked with the Ohio School Facilities Commission team to develop ten-year enrollment projections for school districts entering one of its many programs since 1998.

Tracy is involved with CEFPI, the Council of Educational Facility Planners, International. She currently serves on the Leadership Team for the Midwest/Great Lakes Region and is the program co-chair of the 2009 regional conference held in Columbus. She has received several awards from CEFPI, including most recently a Distinguished Service Award.

Tracy serves on the Walter & Marian English Foundation Awards Committee, which provides scholarships for professional development activities to staff and volunteers of United Way agencies.

ANN HOFFSIS, PROJECT DIRECTOR

Ann Hoffsis joined DeJONG in April 2000 and has been with DeJONG-HEALY since its inception in 2006.

Ann has worked on a variety of projects ranging from site-specific educational specifications for several schools in Washington, D.C.; educational specifications in Las Cruses, New Mexico; and master plans for the Columbus Public School District in Ohio and Clark County Public Schools in Nevada.

Ann's primary focus is enrollment projections. Through her efforts with the Ohio School Facilities Commission, she has projected enrollment for well over 250 school districts in Ohio, including the six largest urban districts: Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Toledo. Additionally, Ann has projected enrollment for the State of Arkansas, numerous districts throughout the United States as well as assisting in projecting enrollment for the Nation of Honduras.

Ann is active in the Council of Educational Facility Planners, International. She was the 2005 Membership Secretary and served as Member-at-Large from 2006 through 2008 for the CEFPI Ohio Chapter. She has also served as the Governor of Ohio for the Midwest/Great Lakes Region since 2006.
